How to Create Database Code for Web Portal Access, QNE Digital-Optimum Integration, and API Integration


Overview:


Database Code is a unique registered code that is used to identify a particular database and be accessible over the internet. This is applicable to Optimum License with Web Portal, QNE Digital integration with your Optimum database, and API integration.

 

Procedure:


Given that Static Public IP Address, Port Forwarding, and Firewall Rules have been setup.


1. Access http://qnekey.azurewebsites.net/WebPortalRegistrationForm.aspx




2. In Server Name, key in your Domain Name or Public IP Address and click Next.


Be sure to configure Port Forwarding for port 1433 to your QNE Server Computer.



3Configure Database Connection

  • Select System Default on the authentication option if you did not change the SQL server ID and password or select SQL Server if you are using a different ID and password in SQL Server Database Engine.
  • Next, type in your Database Name and click Next.



4. Give your database a unique Database Code. Click Check Availability.



5. If the code is available, a congratulation message will show. Click Enable Web Portal Access.



Application:

 

e.g. You may now access your database over the internet via QNE’s Web Portal.

 

  1. Go to https://www.qne.cloud/
  2. Enter the Database Code and your QNE username and password
