How to Allow Users to Select Withholding Tax Codes in Transaction Forms
Overview:
The system will show the message Protected Content in the ‘WTax Code’ fields if the user does not have the necessary access right. This article describes how admins can grant that access right.
Procedure:
1. On the menu bar, go to Maintenance > User Roles.
2. Double-click the System Role that the user(s) belong to.
3. Find W/Tax Codes and tick its corresponding checkbox for the Read permission.
4. Click Save or Save and Close then click No on the window prompt.
Outcome:
The ‘WTax Code’ fields are no longer a protected content, and the user is now able to select from the drop-down list of withholding tax codes.
