The Summary of Ledger Accounts Report provides an overview of the general ledger, organized with a breakdown of transactions per month and document type. This report helps users easily track and analyze financial activity by presenting a concise monthly and categorized summary of all ledger entries. It’s an essential tool for monitoring financial trends and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
This article will show you how to generate the Summary of Ledger Accounts Report step by step, ensuring you can quickly access and interpret your financial data.
Scenario:
Generate a Summary of Ledger Accounts
Solution:
In the Navigation Pane, go to Reporting > Report Center.
Go to the General Ledger tab. Expand the Other Reports, and select Summary Ledger of Accounts.
In the Summary Ledger Of Accounts screen, set the Date Range and choose the Account you want to display by ticking the checkboxes.
- Once done, click Preview.
Application:
The Summary Ledger of Account report is now being generated.
Additional Note: If the user only wants to see the data without the intent to preview and print, click the Inquiry button. This will only display the data in the table below the filter section.
