Overview:
This article explains how to enable or disable the ability to change the system’s seasonal themes. Adjusting this setting allows users to control whether seasonal themes are available in the appearance customization options.
Scenario:
A system administrator wants to restrict users from changing the system’s appearance
based on seasonal themes to maintain a consistent interface. Alternatively, an
administrator may wish to enable seasonal themes to allow users to personalize their
experience according to different times of the year.
Procedure:
Step 1. Navigate to Maintenance > System Options and select the System tab.
Step 2. Locate the option labeled Activate Seasonal Themes
To enable seasonal themes: Check (tick) the box
then click Save.
This allows users to select seasonal themes in the appearance settings.
To disable seasonal themes: Uncheck (untick) the
box then click Save. This removes the seasonal
theme option from the appearance settings.
After ticking the box for activating the Seasonal Themes, the system will prompt to logout and login again to let the option to take effect.
Step 3. After logging back into the system, navigate to View > Appearance > Themes, then click the gear icon next to the search bar and select the Seasonal Themes option to display it in the list.

Enabling seasonal themes allows organizations to enhance user engagement by aligning the system's appearance with holidays or seasonal events. This can be useful for companies that want to create a more dynamic and visually engaging experience. Conversely, disabling seasonal themes ensure a standardized and professional interface, which may be necessary for maintaining brand consistency or reducing distractions in a corporate environment.
