How to Add or Invite Standard Users in QNE AI Cloud

Overview:

QNE AI Cloud allows organizations to manage multiple users with varying roles and permissions,
ensuring that tasks can be distributed efficiently and securely across departments. Inviting a user to
your QNE AI Cloud account enables collaboration, audit tracking, and role-based access to company
data, promoting streamlined accounting workflows.

 

Scenario:

Your accounting team is expanding, and you’ve recently hired a new finance officer. You want to give
them access to QNE AI Cloud, but only with permission to manage accounts payable and view
financial reports. To do this, you need to invite the user and assign them an appropriate role that
reflects their responsibilities.

 

Procedure:

To invite a new user to your QNE AI Cloud company, follow these steps:

 

Step 1: Invite a User.

  • Navigate to Account > Users.

  • Select Standard Users tab and click Invite.

 

Note: For Certified Accountant Partners (CAP) Clients who wish to grant access to their CAP, we
recommend using the Accountant user type. Please refer to this article:

  • In the pop-up window, enter the user's Email Address and Display Name, then click Invite to proceed. 

 


Step 2: Assign a Role to the User. 

The invited user will appear in the standard users list. Invited users will only be able to log in if a role
has been assigned.

  • Click on Attach next to their name.
  • Assign a suitable role to control the user's access and permissions. Choose from predefined
    roles or create a custom one if necessary. 

 

Step 3: Assign a Role to the User. 

 

 


Application: 

Once invited, the user will receive an email invitation to access your company. 

 

The invited user will receive an ID and a password. They should click “Access Your Account” and log
in using the provided password.

 

On their first login attempt, the user will receive a message indicating that their email address has not
yet been confirmed.

 

An email confirmation will then be sent. Click to verify email.

 

A confirmation that the email had been confirmed will show up. Click on “Get Started”

 

Log in again using the registered email and given password.

 

We recommend changing the initial password immediately after logging in.
